Threat Prompts Early Dismissal At Manchester High School – Manchester, CT Patch
MANCHESTER, CT — Police were at Manchester High School Thursday morning to investigate a threat regarding “school safety.”
Police said the school was placed on lockdown as a “precaution,” and MHS officials told the school community that students and staff were safe and secure inside classrooms.
Students who were off campus were being told to stay home by school officials.
Students were being dismissed at 11:45 a.m., according to the superintendent’s office.
Police said they had no other immediate information and would not say if there was a connection to a recent barrage of hoax threats to Connecticut Schools.
